Very early, very wonderful and unusual chest. Yes, this one has seen some bumps along the way and shows its age- which is definitely quite advanced - but also shows the loving and skilled craftsmanship with which it was made. Two of the seven drawers are lined with purple velvet. Small sections of veneer have been lost over the last 220+ years and some hardware has been replaced. A one of a kind antique piece - still functional and fabulous!
